Leadshot has a round form. Lead material has a tendency to get round form which makes the production of leadshot easier. In order to increase this effect arsenic is one of the best additives. But the usage of arsenic is very dangerous. As the lead reaches over 400 centigrad degree to be melted and for leadshot, the addition of arsenic takes place in a very hot liquid form. This causes evaporation of arsenic which has enourmous negative effect on human health. That's why this application is not prefered by producers.
